1965 Pontiac LeMans

This 1965 Pontiac LeMans convertible was refurbished in 2012 in the style of a contemporary GTO. It is powered by a 455ci V8 with dual four-barrel carburetors, an Offenhauser intake manifold, and Doug's coated headers, paired with a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission and a Moser 12-bolt rear end with an Eaton limited-slip differential.
The car is finished in Mayfair Maize with a Parchment soft top, twin-scoop hood, stacked headlights, GTO badging, and chrome bumpers. It rides on 15" Rally-style wheels with redline tires and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. The suspension was overhauled with front and rear sway bars, lowering springs, Koni shocks, and Del-A-Lum bushings. Power steering is equipped with a Moog linkage.
The interior features Parchment vinyl-covered front bucket and rear bench seats, engine-turned trim on the dashboard, a center console, lap belts, Vintage Air climate control, a Hurst shifter, and a digital audio system linked to aftermarket speakers. A battery box and subwoofer enclosure are fitted in the trunk. The three-spoke steering wheel fronts AutoMeter vintage-style gauges, including a 120-mph speedometer, tachometer, and fuel, voltage, coolant, and oil readouts.
The 455ci V8 uses a 1973 YU block, a billet accessory drive, Moroso valve covers, an MSD Blaster ignition, and a BeCool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Doug's ceramic-coated headers flow to a dual exhaust system with electric cutouts. The odometer shows 4,300 miles since the refurbishment.
