1955 Chevrolet Nomad

This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad features a custom build that includes a 6.2-liter LS3 crate engine, a 4L65E four-speed automatic transmission, and RideTech coilovers with tubular control arms up front and a four-link setup out back. The body is finished in red and white and rides on 17" and 18" Ridler wheels mounted over Wilwood disc brakes.
The body was refinished in red and white and has been fitted with LED headlights. Details include hooded headlights, chrome bumpers and moldings, and dual exhaust outlets. A touched-up paint chip is visible above the right-rear wheel.
The car rides on Ridetech adjustable coilovers at all four corners along with tubular control arms up front and a four-link setup out back. It is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by Wilwood discs with drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners. Chrome-plated Ridler 17" front and 18" rear wheels are wrapped in 225/50 and 295/45 Nitto NT555 tires.
The cabin features a power-assisted front bench and a rear seat upholstered in red and white leather along with color-coordinated door panels and red carpeting. Interior equipment includes a RetroSound stereo linked to an amplifier and subwoofer, a billet steering wheel mounted to a tilting steering column, Dakota Digital VHX instrumentation, and a Sears under-dash air conditioning unit retrofitted with Vintage Air components.
The Dakota Digital cluster houses a 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, dual digital displays, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage.
The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine was installed in 2023 along with a Griffin aluminum radiator, electric cooling fan, and a custom air intake assembly that draws air through the inner fender on the driver's side. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L65E four-speed automatic transmission, a custom aluminum driveshaft, and a 12-bolt rear end with a 3.90:1 differential. The dual exhaust system uses FlowMonster mufflers.
