Description
This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was refurbished under previous ownership with a 454ci V8, four-speed manual transmission, Positraction rear end, and a tan reupholstered interior. The body was repainted maroon, and additional features include 15" Turbine-style aluminum wheels with knock-off spinners, side-exit exhaust, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a heater, AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights.
The fiberglass body was originally Milano Maroon (988). Suspension is fully independent with front upper and lower control arms and a three-link rear with a transverse leaf spring. The cabin has two bucket seats, color-matched door panels, replacement carpets, a three-spoke steering wheel, 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.
The five-digit odometer shows 28k miles, approximately 50 added under current ownership. The 454ci V8 was installed before 1985 and reportedly rebuilt in the mid-1990s. Power is routed to the rear wheels through the four-speed manual transmission and Positraction differential.
